Wow!! It has been an incredibly busy month and start to the school year. This post is going to simply serve as a vehicle for pictures of what my kids have doing in art since Jackson County Fair Art. I've created an Instagram account just for art room pictures and have been posting photos there on a more regular basis. Check it out, it's simply "thereddesk."
ALL of my classes worked on Day of the Dead projects for the entire month of October. I had two groups create clay masks, two groups create paper mache masks, and two groups build life size paper mache skeletons.
In no particular order are images of the kids working their way through the projects. I've tried to group them accordingly, but, you never know. There may be a picture out of place!

4. And DONE!!!
Here are some of the finished products. All are currently on display in our library and throughout the school (the skeletons).
Super proud of all of these kids. They really worked hard despite "winging" some of the steps. Good job to all and thanks for checking into the art room! Remember, follow us on Instagram (thereddesk) :)
